When it comes to commercial builds, we've got your back from the first call, to installation and beyond.

Our full service offering and detailed project management process alleviates the stress of complex commercial projects for your team. From large-scale apartment builds to office spaces and education blocks, we’ve completed hundreds of commercial projects, North Island-wide.

From the very start, we help builders, developers and architects make the most of a space, advising on airflow and ventilation, people and movement, natural lighting, outlook and more.

We manufacture and install joinery alongside a number of long-standing commercial construction partners, based out of our Cambridge, Waikato premises. In keeping with our overarching ethos, keeping it local is important to us, and we love working with others who do the same.

Our Process

Our tried-and-true process has been refined over the past 50 years. Today, our commercial project process typically looks like this.

01

Quote or tender

Once a client has sent us plans, we respond with a detailed breakdown of required tasks, products and services via a quote or tender.

02

Value engineering

Working with the broader project team, DuCo meticulously analyses plans to find any opportunities for cost savings or alternative design options that would best suit the client. We then revise the quote or tender accordingly.

03

Shop drawings

Once the quote is approved or the tender is won, we produce detailed drawings of all commercial profiles based on project plans.

04

Site measure

Our team arranges a site visit to measure all required window and door openings. Although this isn’t always possible due to time or resource constraints, it’s our preferred process to make sure there is no room for error.

05

Manufacture

We then take those measurements and start on the manufacturing process at our premises in Cambridge, Waikato.

06

Delivery and installation

The joinery is then carefully delivered to site. Our team install the windows and doors if it’s part of the brief, or complete any remaining tasks in the scope of work such as glazing.

07

Quality assurance and handover

No stone is left unturned. Finally, we complete a thorough quality check, and handover to the project team.
